WARRINGTON Lunas have been subbed into the historic Women’s Super League Nines on Sunday, replacing Dublin who’ve been unable to travel.

When the draw was announced at the start of the week for the event, to be held at Warrington’s Victoria Park including 20 sides, there was a TBA included as it was already known the Irish would not be able to make it.

That hole has now been filled by the Lunas, effectively the Wolves’ reserves team. They’ll play London Broncos, Leeds Rhinos and Featherstone Rovers in Group B.

Earlier, Cardiff Demons joined Group E, which will be played entirely in the afternoon.
