Draw announced for Mudgee Nines

By March 3, 2018No Comments

THE Rugby League Nines World Circuit moves to Mudgee, west of Sydney, Australia, this weekend with eight senior teams competing at the Glen Willow Stadium.

Home side Mudgee Dragons have entered two teams with the rest of the draw – spread over two pools – made up of teams from across country New South Wales.

Mudgee media has expressed excitement about the debut for Orange Hawks of former Newtown prop Saulala Houma, a 120kg New Zealander who played in the 2012 NSW Cup grand final.

“He’s signed for two years and he’s looking to bring the family out of western Sydney. His kids are young and they’re happy to settle here.

“He’s in the market place for a house, and that’s something people struggle to do in Sydney, buy a house,” Hawks president Mark Johnson told the Central Western Daily.

Entry on both days is a gold coin donation. Sunday is filled completely with finals.
