Copperheards RLFC in Florida did some great publicity work for their Nines tournament last weekend when the local ABC affiliate came out to training for a crash course on tactical kicking last week.
And their reporter, identified only as Rachel, apparently picked up a hand injury from the experience as she was shown how to boot the pigskin.
The men’s bracket at Paradise Coast Sports Complex was taken out by USARL Exiles and the women by Carolina Storm.
The winners have each been invited to next year’s London Nines.
