THE rugby league season in British Columbia, Canada, will kick off with the annual Nines at the end of May.
The BCRL has announced that this year’s event will be held at South Surrey Athletic Park on May 28. Competing teams are still being finalised for what has become a traditional event.
“We will have a beer garden running all day long for our spectators and athletes,” the BCRL said in a short statement.
The first BCRL Nines were held in 2013 with the touring New Zealand Police taking out the title. We’ll bring you more news on this year’s event as it comes to hand.
